The time has come. My next series of posts will cover Joss Whedon's Buffyverse, made up by the television shows Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel, as well as their canonical comic book continuations (alliteration!). These two works are incredibly important in the history of television; they are early examples of serialized dramedies, and Buffy helped give the fledgling WB Network a voice (look what happened after the network lost both shows- it tanked; coincidence? I think not!). I want to do a post for each season of each show, an introductory post, and a post-script about the currently on-going comic book continuations.
Get ready for something epic.
